Good day dear readers! Any of you have long completed such a masterpiece game as Bioshock infinite, and if there are those who have just started, then please close this and do not read further.
The fact is that there are a lot of disputes running around the bourgeois sites – including on this topic, which I want to “announce this to the judgment of mankind”© We all remember the wonderful “Nightingale” (as the localizers dubbed him), the fact is that when teleporting to the city “Rapture” or “Delight” (hello to the localizers) “The Nightingale dies”… making the most terrible sounds. It creaks pitifully, squeaks and dies… Very “hardworking” guys, after completing Bioshock infinite, visited good old Bioshock and noticed the following:
1. G.G. (Jack) runs down the corridor, which is collapsing behind him. In Bioshock infinite we see a destroyed corridor.
2. G.G. sails on a bathesphere (it was the last in the row), and in Bioshock infinite.G. (Booker) and Elizabeth board the first bathysphere… This is explained by the fact that the worlds are supposedly similar, but there are small differences (well, they also refer to the fact that the developers no longer remember everything or sometimes deliberately allow such inaccuracies).
3. Bioshock infinite there is no plasmid in the “Garden of Gatherers” and this suggests that.G. (Jack) already took it.
4. And something else.
I found this video from one user, apparently he also noticed it and decided to kindly film it (which was helpful).
On bourgeois sites this is marked as an “Easter egg”.
Do you think this is all true and can we call it all the genius of the developers who conceived everything from the very beginning (or had developments for this, but then perhaps slightly changing something leaving the essence) or is it all schizophrenia and delirium, which is caused by a swollen and not quite assembled brain, after it exploded from the realization of the plot twist of the game?
There are still many topics and debates, but I think it’s interesting to discuss this.

It’s all bloody hell.
Seriously indeed? Why not choose the simplest option – the developers knew what was happening in the first Bioshock, because they are the developers of all this, and adjusted the facts in the third Bioshock to what was in the first.
Regarding the fourth – they used the same sound. Oh, easter egg. The creators probably have a gigantic library of sounds, and took one from there.
By the way, the plot of this game was inspired by the words of one well-known song.
There’s a lady who’s sure all that glitters is gold
And she’s buying a stairway to heaven
When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for
Ooh, ooh, and she’s buying a stairway to heaven
There’s a sign on https://goldenbet-casino.net/ the wall but she wants to be sure
‘Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings
In a tree by the brook, there’s a songbird who sings
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven
Ooh, it makes me wonder
Ooh, it makes me wonder
There’s a feeling I get when I look to the west
And my spirit is crying for leaving
In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees
And the voices of those who stand looking
Ooh, it makes me wonder
Ooh, it really makes me wonder
And it’s whispered that soon if we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
And the forests will echo with laughter
If there’s a bustle in your hedgerow, don’t be alarmed now
It’s just a spring clean for the May queen
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There’s still time to change the road you’re on
And it makes me wonder
Your head is humming and it won’t go, in case you don’t know
The piper’s calling you to join him
Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow and did you know
Your stairway lies on the whispering wind?
And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all, yeah
To be a rock and not to roll
Please note that both the song and the game are about a lady who lives in heaven. The word heaven, in this context, is synonymous with the word paradise. But since all that glitters is not gold, then heaven may not be so heavenly after all.
Both in the song and in the game there is a songbird (the one that is the nightingale, in the Russian localization). Please note that in the original – not a lark, not a nightingale, not something else, but a songbird. Coincidence?
There is also an image of a piper in the song. Moreover, in English the word piper is translated not only as piper, but in general as any person who plays an instrument that needs to be blown, be it bagpipes, flute or pipe, no matter. Now remember how in the game Elizabeth “unbewitches” the nightingale.
Who knows, but if they came up with the idea of an underwater world, then why not think about an aerial city at the same time?? Moreover, why not think about an underground city??)) I think there was a lot there that was already adjusted to the theme of the first Bioshock, yet the process of creating any good game is not simple and straightforward – a lot of ideas, characters and game creatures can be cut out in the final version, maybe the bird was originally intended to be underwater… Just look at her costume, I didn’t know that I would see something like that in the game, because as in anticipation of any good game, I was afraid to “burn out” by watching all the teasers and videos, so the first thing that came to my mind was “why the hell is this bird in a suit?». But if we assume that she was originally supposed to appear in the first Bioshock, then this becomes understandable.
Idk, when creating the first Bioshock there could have been a lot of developments, both about the air city and about the underwater one, you never know what they could have done.
Bioshock is a series and as I understand it, it’s all interconnected. And it’s amazing. When you play and think that you are going through different games for different characters. But then it turns out that they are all interconnected – this is a brilliant move!
